No face, on purpose. The work is the introduction.
I work in finance. For most of a decade my job has been sitting across from institutions and explaining, in plain terms, what a product does, what it costs and where the risk actually sits. That habit of showing the math is the whole method here.
I started building tools after a layoff. Every job-search product I could find started from a keyword list instead of from what I had actually done, so I built one that starts from the résumé: Fitz. Then the engine that tailors a résumé without inventing a word of it, then the playbook that explains the method, because the tools turned out to be the smaller part.
This site exists because the people who asked me where to begin with a few hundred dollars were getting hype or homework and nothing in between. What they needed was one decision at a time, sourced, with the trade-off spelled out. That is what I publish here: beginner investing for people starting with under $500, no jargon, no hype, and no face, because the argument should stand on its own.
All designed, specified and tested by me, with AI-assisted development doing the typing. Every one started as a problem I had.
A job search engine ranked by your résumé: tens of thousands of live roles pulled straight from company job feeds, scored by fit with the reasoning shown, and nothing stored. See Fitz →
A private career strategist that runs on your own computer with your own AI subscription. It tailors a résumé by cloning the master and editing surgically, grounded in your real documents, and it never invents a bullet.
The method underneath the tools: the evidence base you build first, how to tailor by hand in twenty minutes, why finding a human is the gate. A companion document covers interviews.
A complete personal-finance app in a single file: income and taxes, debt payoff, savings goals and long-range projections, run as a month-by-month simulation. It is where the "show the math" habit became software.
For anyone who needs the formal version: roles, scope and results, under this name.
